Vivace RF Microneedling & Subnovii Plasma Pen

Man or woman, young or old, a good skincare regimen is a must if you want to combat the effects of time and exposure to the elements. There are steps you can (and should) take at home to keep your skin clean, healthy and youthful looking, but there are distinct advantages to getting professional help as well. Medical grade treatments can help you do more, and do it better, than you can probably accomplish at home.

Subnovii Plasma Pen

At Image Surgical Arts, we offer two skincare treatments that are increasingly popular because they can treat a wide range of skin imperfections, they are safe and effective for nearly everyone and they deliver results you can see right now. These two treatments also enhance the skin improvements your body performs on its own. We’re talking about Vivace RF Microneedling and Subnovii Plasma Pen.

Vivace RF: More than Microneedling

Microneedling has become one of the most popular skin rejuvenation treatments. But you don’t want just any microneedling, you want the latest technology that offers the most advantages, and that’s Vivace RF.

This minimally-invasive treatment augments traditional microneedling with highly controllable radiofrequency heat and red and blue light, to treat skin on and below the surface more comfortably and more uniformly. Even better, Vivace RF microneedling is suitable for all skin types and tones. Plus, there’s more – we can add specialized serums to enhance and speed healing from Vivace RF treatments. And while most patients will see results after just one treatment, we do recommend a series to ensure best results.

At Image Surgical Arts, we especially like Vivace RF to give skin an overall refreshing boost and to specifically treat:

  • Scarring
  • Stretchmarks
  • Skin that is losing its elasticity
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Rosacea

Patients see results after just one treatment with Vivace RF, and because the treatment stimulates production of renewed collagen, you will see continuing improvement as new, healthy skin replaces the old.

Subnovii Plasma Pen: Like Microneedling, Minus the Needles

Not entirely on board with needles, even the teeny tiny ones used for microneedling? Then consider the Subnovii Plasma Pen – a small, handheld device that might look a bit like a pen but which delivers impressive skin rejuvenation. The great thing about this treatment is that it is much less invasive than microneedling.

As the device is moved just above (but not touching) the skin, the radiofrequency heat it emits reacts with plasma, gas-like matter that naturally occurs on surface skin, creating tiny wounds similar to those created by microneedling. This stimulates fibroblasts in the skin – the cells in connective tissue that produce elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid. The resulting healthy new skin is firmer and smoother, with fewer noticeable imperfections.

The Subnovii Plasma Pen treatment can tighten skin and minimize visible lines, wrinkles and creases plus dark spots and scars. It is suitable for almost all skin types and tones.

Because the Subnovii Plasma Pen is a very small device and gentle enough for delicate skin, we can treat areas that other skin rejuvenation alternatives cannot. At Image Surgical Arts, we especially like this treatment to target:

  • Brow
  • Upper eyelids
  • Under-eye area
  • Crow’s feet
  • Mouth area
  • Jawline and jowls
  • Neck
  • Décolleté

Downtime? Hardly!

You want to do right by your skin, but you’re busy. We get that, and that’s one more reason we recommend Vivace RF microneedling and Subnovii Plasma Pen treatments for our patients.

Vivace RF requires no downtime whatsoever. You might have a bit of redness or swelling immediately after a treatment, but that goes away quickly. You can go right back to normal work or play, knowing your skin is already working to improve itself.

With Subnovii, you may have some mild itching, swelling or tight feeling at first and teeny scabs that will fall away over 5-10 days. But you can still go about your daily routine while your skin heals and renews itself.

Learn More, Face to Face

Both of these treatments are great, but not every option is right for every face. A personal consultation with one of our skincare experts will let us see your skin in person and hear your concerns and goals, so we can help you decide what’s best for you.
